Will Rucker was Choctaw Indian born in Louisiana in 1829. It is thought that he was a Pony Express Rider. He married Lou T. Buford, a Cherokee Indian in 1874 in the Indian Territory. They had 6 children, 4 of whom survived. They were James Albert, Rosa Jane, Finus Marion, and Joseph William. He died in Bonham, Fannin County Texas in 1889.
